End of a beginning...

As I reflect upon the class and the concept of blogging, I find myself puzzled...Part of me enjoyed the reflection and a part of me found it to be busy work. I enjoyed reading what other people had to say on the various topics, but the writing of my own "feelings" was tedious.
I must say however I really enjoyed meeting the others in the class, what a great bunch of ladies! They made my transition back to school an enjoyable one! I am looking forward to continuing on and hopefully hearing a class with them again. I probably will delete my blog. There are so many other ways to communicate that I will not utilize it, but I am glad I got to experience it and who knows maybe sometime in the future it will come in handy!

  1. Thank you for sharing your thoughts truthfully. Sometimes the true path of learning is glossed over when we hear things like, "School is so hard" or "Learning is a great process". However, these hardly relay some of the true emotions and struggles we go through as students. Most of us have heard the first saying knowing that the speaker just doesn't like doing the work and therefore complains. Whereas, what you've written in this post shows that learning can challenge us even when we give 100% and that what we learn may not always be something we will continue with in the future. It is more about the process.

  2. Yeah, I had a little bit of a hard time with the blog assignments too. It just seemed that I always got a big paper in Biology or a huge project in ceramics or I had to keep up with the reading in this class or a problem in Printmaking.... and my poor little blog got pushed to the back burner. I really hope you keep blogging though. At the very least its a way we can all keep in touch.
